As an undergraduate student who is interested or engaged in research, you have a wealth of opportunities to meet fellow undergraduate researchers, explore the world of professional research, learn inside tips for obtaining research experience or getting into graduate school, and just hang out!

Students of all disciplines are welcome. Our programs are informal gatherings with friendly people who want to help you get involved in research and thrive in a research role.

Activitiies are organized by the Office of Undergraduate Research in collaboration with the students of ReCON.

Five to six grad students from a range of disciplines answer your questions about graduate school.

In this interactive session, you will learn the difference between a resume and a CV (curriculum vitae) and when to use each one. You’ll also get to work on your own.

An invaluable skill for communicating your work to anyone, anywhere, in 60-90 seconds. After an overview of the basics, you will get to work crafting yours.

For graduate school applications and more, you will need to develop a personal statement. Learn the key components, evaluate examples, and get to work on your own.

Amazing summer research programs are out there. Find out what they are and learn what it takes to be selected for admission.

Come to the Catskeller and hang with research friends. An amazing pool of people is out there doing amazing things, and we want to introduce you to one another. Open Chats take place in the Catskeller in Tangeman University Center (TUC). No need to register; just show up.
